This is an introduction course to the computer science. The basic ideas, results and the developments of the computer science will be explored. This includes the logical background, theoretical computation models, some simple algorithms, programming languages and essential techniques of the software development. The aim of this course is to help the students of non-computer science have a rough understanding about computer science as a scientific branch and eventually design their own software.

  • First written examination: Feburay 14, 2006. 15:00 -- 17:00, HS 1.

  • Second written examination: March 21, 2006. 15:00 -- 17:00, HS 2.
